I have been so grateful to work on television shows for youth. I have played on the stage in the iconic, The Just For Laugh’s Festival, and acted and sang in the World Premiere of Belles-Soeurs The Musical at the Segal Centre. I have also lent my voice to many VO’s, dubbing projects and animation series for companies including Sony Records and Hana Barbera. Acting has given me the chance to meet and work alongside people like Johnny Depp (Secret Window) Bette Middler (Isn’t She Great), George Takei (Space Cases), Damon Wayans Jr. (The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair), sing alongside Julian Lennon (The Real Story of I’m a Little Teapot) and more.

I consider myself a character actor and have also played series regular roles for both television series' including Space Cases (Written by Bill Mumy and Peter David) for Nickelodeon in the US and YTV in Canada, and for the series Back to Sherwood for the BBC. Both allowed me to play really unique and fun loving characters. In Space Cases, Thelma was an android (I was the first woman android to play in a sci-fi series in the early 90’s) who was in charge of on ship operations (although she had a bit of a screw loose!) Brennan in Back to Sherwood was a witch that had locked maid Marianne and Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest. Both roles allowed me to express my comedic skills, dialect skills and mime work.

Acting for me is pure joy and requires, preparation, analysis, and a deep focus to then surrender yourself fully to the perspective and embodiment of another.

Acting is an exhilarating art form!
